Since 2023, I have hosted Journal Club, a monthly meet-up in Hunter Paper Co; Northern Ireland’s leading independent stationery store. A casual and welcoming gathering of fellow journaling enthusiasts, it’s a comfy and creative couple of hours. Ideal for new and seasoned journalers, just bring yourself, your journal and an inquisitive mind. Visit Hunter Paper Co to see their amazing range of letterpress cards and carefully curated international stationery and to learn more about Journal Club.I host regular mindful & creative journaling and junk journaling workshops in Belfast’s Crescent Arts Centre. For folks who want to learn more about journaling and the benefits it can bring; or who just want a fun day making new journals from scraps, my workshops are ideal for newcomers. All introductory materials are included in your booking but I encourage everyone to bring all those random paper and ephemera oddments to personalise your new journal. For more information on my workshops, please click here.Together with my friend Nuala of Lacuna Moon, we created PaperMoonCon, Ireland’s first journaling and planning event. A one-day mix of talks, demonstrations and workshops with attendees coming from across the country. I’ve been very lucky to have been invited to speak and participate in some of the UK’s biggest journaling events, including JournalFest 2024. Getting to share my experiences and thoughts on this habit and practice that we all love has been inspiring and humbling and I look forward to more in the future.
